She is particularly dedicated to ensuring equitable, evidence-based support for children with disabilities and those developing differently. Wendy also advocates for better outcomes for young people connected to child welfare and champions public sector oversight and accountability. By translating legislation and policy into high-quality, equitable services, she drives impactful change at both community and systems levels. Wendy has extensive experience leading cross-disciplinary teams through periods of uncertainty, demonstrating strong political acumen, conceptual and analytical skills. She excels in assessing complex challenges and devising data-driven strategies for optimal impact. Thriving in dynamic environments, Wendy ensures alignment between vision and operations. Currently, Wendy serves as the Board Chair of the Child Development Institute and is a Board Member of ABRAR Trauma and Mental Health Services.
